Description
In the summer of 1946, the newly elected county prosecutor of Hot Springs, Arkansas, hires Earl Swagger, a war veteran disturbed by dark memories of Iwo Jima and of his brutal father, to fight a war against the city's gangsters, led by an Englishman named Owney Maddox, who has a taste for brothels and casinos.
