"A modern tale of old-fashioned justice"
Description
In the spirit of Cormac McCarthy comes Marble Canyon. All Grace Tucker wanted to do was to get away from her mother and the sleepy little New Mexico town where she was born. But when she tries hitchhiking her way to her stepfather's place in Arizona, someone drags her off the road and strangles her. The local sheriff is on the scene within hours, but finds little to point him in any usable direction. The broken family cries out for justice and revenge. Soon enough, though, a series of men are found murdered in their cars by shotgun blasts. A single clue connects the murders and suddenly the FBI takes over the case. Yet, it is a local deputy who can't shake the feeling that all of these events are somehow connected to Grace's death, and that the murderers are a lot closer to home. Set against the desert Southwest and caught between the laws of the Red Man and the White, Marble Canyon reveals its secrets. But even when you think you've discovered all the answers, you haven't gotten to the truth.
